Routine Property Inspections

Property Care When You Can't Be There

There’s nothing more reassuring than knowing someone is regularly checking on your property.
Our routine property inspections in Swakopmund are scheduled visits during which we look for visible signs of maintenance issues, damage, mould (see our mould inspections page) or anything that may require attention. Identifying potential problems early can help prevent small issues from becoming more costly repairs.
Following every visit, you’ll receive a professional report together with photographs, keeping you informed. With home inspection training through HISAA, our visits follow a recognised, structured process rather than a casual walkthrough.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are Routine Property Inspections done?

Routine Property Inspections can be scheduled monthly, every two weeks or weekly, depending on your property and your individual needs.

What is the cost of Routine Property Inspections?

The cost depends on the size of the property and the frequency of the inspections. Please contact us for a personalised quote.

How long does a Routine Property Inspection take?

The duration depends on the size of the property and the scope of the inspection.

What does onboarding include?

Onboarding includes an initial property condition assessment, key collection and an initial meeting and walk-through with the owner. This allows us to become familiar with your property and establish a clear baseline for future routine inspections.

What is the difference between a Routine Property Inspection and a Property Condition Assessment?
  1. A Routine Property Inspection is an ongoing service designed to monitor the visible condition of your property while you are away. During these visits, we check the interior and exterior for visible signs of damage, dampness, mould, leaks, maintenance concerns and other issues that may require attention.

  2. A Property Condition Assessment is a more comprehensive, once-off assessment of the property's condition at a specific point in time. It covers additional areas and systems that are outside the scope of a routine inspection.

  3. In simple terms, a Property Condition Assessment provides a more detailed picture of the property's condition, while Routine Property Inspections provide ongoing monitoring to help identify visible issues that may arise over time.  For more information about our Property Condition Assessments, please visit our Property Condition Assessments page.
