Our Story
We founded CasaCare after experiencing the frustration of owning a holiday home in Swakopmund while living abroad. We believe that owning a home in this beautiful part of the world should feel rewarding, not a never-ending list of maintenance headaches.
After moving back to Swakopmund permanently in 2025, we realised that this was still a common challenge for many homeowners who spend extended periods away from their homes.
CasaCare offers a combination of routine property inspections, short-term rental solutions and additional concierge services. Our services are designed to make your life simpler by providing practical support and a trusted local presence while you are away.
Professional Training. Personal Care.
To further support our clients, we have expanded our services to include independent property condition assessments for buyers and sellers. We have completed home inspection training through HISAA (South Africa’s Home Inspection – SA Academy Training Institute) and are members of InterNACHI. We use professional inspection techniques and appropriate inspection equipment to produce structured inspection reports.
Our training enables us to follow a systematic approach to identifying potential maintenance concerns, assessing visible conditions and documenting our findings clearly.
In addition to our core services, we understand the unique challenges of Swakopmund's coastal environment, particularly concerning mould. That’s why we offer comprehensive mould inspections, air testing, and remediation services—helping homeowners identify and address potential mould and moisture concerns and maintain healthier indoor environments.
